What to ask before you book a Lexus in
- Which diagnostic system do they use for Lexus, and have they coded or programmed a module on one before? This is the question that separates a specialist from a general workshop, and it is harder to bluff than a badge on the door.
- Genuine, OEM or aftermarket parts — and the lead time for each. European parts are usually stocked in Dubai and shipped elsewhere, so ask before you leave the car.
- Labour hours, not just a total. A quote of "AED 2,000 for the job" tells you nothing about whether the job was priced or guessed.
- What warranty covers the work, for how long, and whether it survives you taking the car elsewhere afterwards.
