What the lowest honest price looks like
These are the bottom of our estimated ranges for a small Japanese or Korean car at an independent workshop — the number a genuinely cheap quote should be near. Well below this and something has been removed from the job.

The difference is not the workshop. It is whether the job has a fixed scope before anyone starts.

Labour rates differ across the UAE by more than most drivers expect, and it is the single largest saving available on a big job.

Common questions
Do you list garage offers and discounts?
Not yet. We will list offers from partner workshops once we have partners, and each one will name the garage, the date it was given to us and what it excludes. We are not going to publish a deals table we invented, because an offer nobody actually made is not a saving.
Is the cheapest garage a bad idea?
Not automatically. For an oil change, tyres or a battery, the cheap end of the range is often genuinely fine — the work is simple and hard to get wrong. For diagnosis, AC leaks, gearbox or bodywork, the cheapest quote is usually cheap because something has been left out of it.
How do I actually get a lower price?
Get three quotes for the same defined job, in writing, and make sure all three are quoting the same parts. Most of what people call negotiating is really just discovering that two of the three quotes included different work.
Are prices genuinely cheaper in other emirates?
Yes. Labour rates in Sharjah and Ajman typically run 15 to 30 percent below Dubai for the same job, which is why a lot of Dubai bodywork is done in Sharjah Industrial Area. Whether the drive is worth it depends on the size of the bill.
